Kitchen Facilities

In order to support the lunch programmes and to ensure that cooking is done safely we have funded the construction of various kitchen facilities. We always fund storage rooms so food and equipment is stored securely.

We work with the staff and parents at each school to understand their individual kitchen requirements. 

We have funded the construction of a:

  • large industrial energy efficient kitchen at St Michael’s 

  • large industrial energy efficient kitchen/store room at St Mulumba’s

  • smaller kitchen at Bishop Willigers - this kitchen will need upgrading as the school enrolment has increased

There are plans to fund at least one new kitchen/store room at a local primary school during 2024.
